OOTD - Sunny, sunny, sun, sun, sun! Edition.
Dress from ASDA, i had to sew up the buttons to stop them from gaping.
It’s way shorter than i’d normally wear without leggings, but i’m not planning on going much further than the balcony today! This is super cute. And yay, legs!

OOTD - OMG SUUUUUUUUN edition!
After over a month of grey skies, driving rain and hiding under the duvet the sun is shining and it’s time to get out the summer dresses! (But it’s Britain, so you still need a cardi!)Dress - Asda

OOTD - Braving the VBL!
So two week ago these jeans had me in tears, everything i put on with them made me feel so obvious, that they were too fitted, too tight. So to work with my new confidence i thought i’d wear them with a shirt and a t-shirt that shows off that fit. Oh and i have an arse, it doesn’t get seen very often under the skirts!
Also very proud of my make up!
Jeans - New Look. (Still too baggy around my silly little calves!)
Shirt - Also New Look (There are loads of photos of Frightened Rabbits recording their new album and the drummer is in the same shirt!)
T-Shirt - Primark
Shoes - Office.You are glorious.

FATSHION FEBRUARY: DAY 12 // vbo and stretchmarks
Jumper, shoes, bag, earrings - New Look; skirt - H&M
Personal story time: 2 years ago, I’d have shied away from an outfit like this. The skirt clings to my stomach, highlighting each inch of fat. The jumper is so short that moving my arms reveals my stretch marks. I was determined to hide my fat, or to at least give myself an hourglass figure. But now, I honestly don’t care. Going out wearing a short skirt that shows the cellulite on my thighs and the bulge of my belly is empowering. Wearing a jumper which flashes my stretch marks and scars is empowering. Loving myself just as I am is empowering.
I’ve had some really unconfident days recently, mainly due to my lack of weather appropriate clothing, diet talk at home and being called “a fat, ugly bitch” by a man in town.
So I’m bringing this back, reminding myself that I am beautiful, strong and empowered, even if I don’t feel that way 24/7.

Fatshion February day 8:
Dress & belt: Pinup Girl Clothing “Heidi” dress, size 2X
Shoes: Vizzano size 38
Bangles: FCUK
I woke up late this morning so I threw on this as I ran out the door. One of the many reasons I love dresses. The Heidi dress from Pinup Girl Clothing is one my fave purchases from them. They do a few other versions of this dress in different colours and I’m very tempted by them.
Lipstick is MAC Russian Red. My favorite matte red of all time.

FATSHION FEBRUARY: DAY 29 // Clashing prints
Skirt - F&F @ Tesco; vest top - Primark; cardigan - thrifted, headscarf - New Look; tights - Primark; boots - Red Herring @ Debenhams
Last FatFeb post! Today was a day for clothing with bright pink floral prints. The skirt and headscarf are gorgeous in their own right, but I really like them together. Clashing is cool.

FATSHION FEBRUARY: (RETROSPECTIVE) DAY 28 // Femme fatale
Skirt - eBay; body, shoes - New Look; tights - Primark; headscarf - thrifted; necklace - Minimum Mouse
Animal prints are always fabulous and this outfit made me feel super fance/fierce. Somebody on the bus referred to me as “the fat girl wearing the leopard print skirt” and I got mad at them because it is clearly cheetah print.

FATSHION FEBRUARY: (RETROSPECTIVE) DAY 27 // Chic and simple
Skirt - Peacocks; top - Dorothy Perkins; necklace - my momma’s from the 80s; cardigan, headscarf - thrifted; tights - Primark; shoes - New Look
My general, day-to-day style is actually pretty boring. Amazing necklaces help jazz it up a bit though. I really love this necklace, but I feel like it’s just too much a lot of the time. Also, I have to have the right kind of neckline so it stands out as much as possible.
PS. It had been raining, hence the wet shoes.
